Stellar Roots is a rural community land project and educational space stewarding homes and over 60 acres of land at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

envision a future where ALL HAVE a safe space to flourish through equitable access to land and the necessary resources to encourage and care for the land and themselves.

WE MANEUVER with land and make manifest a living legacy to re-embrace our responsibility to nurture and grow in harmony with our surroundings and each other.

Headquartered at the feet of the Blue Ridge Mountains on a historically “Black” rural route, Stellar Roots stewards the land as a testament to the enduring endowment of multi-cultural caregivers. For generations, these hills and valleys have been tended to by the impoverished: un-registered indigenous groups, recently emancipated farming families and spiritual activists. Stellar roots seek to honor the practices of those who have walked dark and dusty roads in order to design space that reflects the balance between humanity and our nature.

Our roots intertwine with the wealthy tapestry of those who have come before us; our neighbors. long embodying deep reverence for the land with thier stories, shared in the wisdom of their sturdy smiles and steeped with A Resilient heritage of solidarity.

OUR MISSION

Stellar Roots is a regenerative land and education initiative exploring equitable access to land, housing, and ecological learning at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We honor the legacy of multicultural land stewards while advancing a future where all people can live and grow in balance with nature. Through partnership, we invite visionary companies and industries to invest in a living model of sustainability, social equity, and collective well-being.

OUR maneuver

In collaboration with the School of Living Land Trust, Stellar Roots maneuvers through a living framework that unites community, ecology, and equity. Guided by Georgist economic principles and the CLT model, we secure land for present and future generations while centering the wisdom of the larger community. Through this partnership, we create access pathways for Multi-cultural Indigenous women to engage in land-based living education around the world—cultivating stewardship, sustainability, and self-determination rooted in shared responsibility and collective care.

WHAT IS A LAND TRUST !?
WHAT IS AN INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY !?
STEWARDSHIP !?

OUR movement

Stellar Roots Education moves with purpose—to transform agricultural trauma into empowerment, and land into legacy. Through immersive programs and healing-centered education, we support multi-cultural indigenous women of the diasporas in reclaiming agency, building wealth, and designing their own trusts. As a fiscally sponsored initiative of the Fellowship of Intentional Communities, our movement leverages large assets held in trust to nurture personal transformation, collective revival, and a future where access, ownership, and belonging are shared by all.
